Head and neck injuries are not to be taken lightly, as they can have long-lasting consequences if not addressed promptly and adequately. While mild injuries can often be treated with rest and observation, moderate to severe injuries require immediate medical evaluation, as they may lead to serious complications or permanent damage. At The Emergency Center, our team of board-certified emergency medicine physicians, ER- and ICU-trained nurses, and experienced Radiology Technologists are available 24/7, with little to no wait, to care for your head and neck injuries. When you come to our ER, the physician will quickly provide treatment with personal care and make a plan for your recovery that may include high-resolution diagnostic imaging (CT scan or digital X-ray), IV medications and fluids, up to 23 hours of observation monitoring, and more.
Always err on the side of caution when dealing with head and neck injuries and seek professional medical help if you have any doubts about the severity of the injury. Your health and well-being should be the top priority, and seeking timely care can make all the difference in the recovery process. Stay safe and take care!
